Online Produce is proud to be a woman owned tufted rug business based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mikaela Seitz, the co-owner, works alongside her partner and long-term boyfriend John Violini. Mikaela and John are experienced rug makers who carefully design and fabricate all their unique handmade rugs. Online Produce specializes in custom rugs, working with brands such as All Cap Studio, Live Breathe Futbol, Double Wonderful, and Holy Moly Mischief. Online Produce also creates their own designs and unique products. Online Produce was founded in September 2020, during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic when they were looking to start a business of their own. They discovered tufting online and decided to invest their savings into materials. Mikaela and John are both self-taught rug makers, learning everything through the process of trial and error in the beginning. Upon their first few weeks of rug making, they decided to show off their work on Instagram to family and friends. Their work attracted the attention of many new people and brands on social media, allowing them to grow their business to where it is today. They plan to expand their business by incorporating new items such as furniture and fashion items, as well as continue to connect with as many new people as they can.
